pro bo·no pu·bli·co (adj./adv.): for the public good

From kindergarten through university, our kids’ education is in danger. In the face of increased privatization, racialized punitive punishment for children in schools, institutional mistreatment of teachers, and low wages for educators, we must stand up for educational justice. Our children deserve better than a system that funnels whole populations from schools to prisons, and lacks funds to update curriculum and maintain diverse lessons and programs. It’s time to stand up for teachers, for parents, and most importantly for students. It’s time to stand up for our future.
